Abstract

Infective Endocarditis (IE) is a disease characterized by microbe and fibrin rich complex adhesion to the cardiac valvular apparatus. Common culprit microorganisms include gram positive bacteria however valvular infections with fungal organisms are rare. We present an uncommon case of Candida Tropicalis endocarditis.
