Impact of Polypharmacy on Lipid Control Among US Adults on Statins: Insight from NHANES 1999-2018

Abstract
We used data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (1999-2018), a nationally representative US dataset. The study included non-pregnant adults aged≥ 20 years on statins, with polypharmacy defined as using≥ 5 medications. Lipid control was defined as total cholesterol< 200 mg/dL.
