Abstract
- Communication between healthcare providers and nurses is an essential component for a good working relationship.
- Increased collaboration has been shown to improve staff attitudes and job satisfaction.
- Interprofessional rounds with a rounding checklist provide an organized way to perform rounds to increase satisfaction with teamwork and decrease miscommunication.
- At the DNP project site, a rounding checklist is not being used, resulting in a disconnect between the nurses and healthcare providers.
